The role

We are looking for a family Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join our Cambridge office to undertake family law work serving an exclusively privately paying client base with an emphasis on financial work and complex children cases for professionals and high net worth individuals.

The person

5+ years PQE with training and experience in working in family law gained in a large City or regional firm or boutique/niche family firm. 

We are looking for someone who;

  • Is enthusiast and ambitious
  • Has experience in offering outstanding client service
  • Has the ability to build relationships with clients, potential clients, intermediaries and colleagues
  • Is a self-starter with common sense and initiative, and ability to be a team player on complex matters
  • Can evidence building their own practice through proactive business development
  • Has excellent communication skills including written English for drafting purpose as well as technical legal excellence and strong IT skills
  • Can demonstrate a forward-thinking approach, embracing innovation and AI
  • Has excellent time management skills, able to prioritise work load and meet deadlines

Pre employment screening
